Curriculum
The RN-BSN curriculum is grounded in scriptural principles and a biblical worldview. Biblical truth is foundational to the liberal arts and sciences and to the art and science of nursing. The CCU nursing curriculum integrates faith, learning, and living in every course providing students with the unique opportunity to examine and apply Christian faith in professional nursing practice.
The RN-BSN curriculum is designed as a 21st century evidence-based curriculum incorporating the latest Essentials for Baccalaureate Education for Professional Practice from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). The RN-BSN curriculum emphasizes Christian theory, moral leadership, and spiritual care in practice. The transcultural focus allows students to explore global concepts in healthcare economics and policy in preparation for the international capstone immersion experience. Integration of faith, learning, and living is found in each nursing course.
CCU is a member of the NCA’s Higher Learning Commission.
